I added/changed quite a few bits.

I just put a tapped SSL6 in a guitar. I intended to use a no-load pot to 'spin' the tap; wire the full-coil lead to the selector and connect the tapped lead to the wiper of the no-load pot. By grounding the 'bottom' terminal, at '10' the tapped lead is isolated, and rolling down to '0' gradually grounds the tapped lead - thereby grounding out half of the coil.

Long lead. Bridge version. Nickel covered.

I've always wanted a gold sparkle strat style guitar. I can't afford this one right now but I'm just wondering what these usually go for.

this is my band's site. the solo in the beginning of the first song is really off but i didnt have time to fix it. the bands not really my style but whateva. i recorded this on my warlock(still stock pups) into my other guitarist's marshall MG series head. My rhythm guitarist played a stock epi les paul through the same amp.

This is a Laney tube head, the Tony Iommi signature amp.. I found one used, or should I say almost not used at all, for about half the price of a new one. I am a rock/metalhead (which I read this amp basically shines for), but I wanted your opinion on whether it's a good tube head or not..so, is it worth it?

Has anyone made a comparison among Hi-output passive SD's (Invader, Distortion, Dimebucker) and EMG active humbuckers (EMG 81 etc.)? Is the output at the same level or is there a great difference in power?

I have an OFR on my Soloist and I don't know what the hell I did to my guitar, but now the bridge is a little skewed towards the treble strings enough so that it actually took a little bit of paint off of the body. I hope you guys understand this without pictures...

I have a strat copy (Gamp;L). When I switch to the bridge position, I get no sound. In the other positions, it is fine 90% of the time, but sometimes will intermittantly go dead for a few seconds and then continue working. Seems to me that it might be a bad connection or a short somewhere.

Some of you have seen my Sweet Switch threads. Now I'm thinking of just making a Stomp-A-Sweet so I don't have to add a switch to every freakin' guitar I ever own. Probably looking at a rotary switch so I can dial in a bunch of different settings (presumably some will sound better with Guitar A, others with Guitar B, etc.).
