I made a thread couple days ago about pup for Epi g310. Well I ended up getting an Epi SG Jr. and I was wonder if there was anything different. I think I ended deciding on a JB for playing Posthardcore/punk type music. Is there anything I need to know or will this be a good choice still. I believe it comes with a P-90 type pickup, what are some of your guys thoughts on that? This is a pic of it.

Would that work? if you used figure 8 winding around each pole? would each pole have its own winding kinda?
Well, every other pole would be out-of-phase. Besides . . . I'll give you 30 to 40 turns before you chuck it in the bin.

Won this off of ebay the other day for $10, anyone know ANYTHING about this series of amps? I know that they are related to the early Premium brand which made some interesting tube amps. It's a SS combo that's only about 5 watts I'm guessing. Got it for a buddy for Christmas.

I wondering if anyone knew how close a tone that a JB has to the single coil version callled the JB jr. I know it the JB jr. has more highs and less lows, but I want to know how similar they are compared together in a bridge.

Just wondering what the tonal differences are between a sealed back front loaded 4x12 compared to my Mesa standard 4x12 if they had the same speakers and wiring.

does anyone know the exact distance the neck pickup needs to be routed for in a 24 fret neck vs a 22 fret neck ? like how much further down the body it is ? thanks :-D!

Hey folks. I have a Guild StarFire IV with the original guild pick-ups. I'm looking to give it a little more 'fire' and take away some of its jazzy side (I don't want it totally removed but definitely subdued). Are there any pick-ups you can recommend that I could drop into this puppy to give a little more of an edge?
