I've got this Red Epiphone dot That I hate. Not cause its a bad guitar or anything (actully one of the best epi dots I've ever played), But Because It was a gift from my ex-wife. And She's done alotta Bad stuff to My daughter and I. So The guitar just has lots of Bad Vibes for me. So I'm thinking of Tradeing it in, or selling it. And I was wondering if anyone knew what the trade in value of these are? Or what the going rate for a used one is?

In Praise of the Highway One Fender Series....
In the tweaking of my latest amp, I tried to play all my guitars into it. I don't play the Hwy 1 Tele near often enough, but that little guitar just feels right. It's Duncanized, of course. I love the finish, love the neck on it (for a flat maple slab!), just doesn't feel as natural in my paw as a Les Paul, but that's one darn nice US-made guitar. (well, allegedly US made!)

Ibanez Edge III...
Hey guys recently I saw a guitar on the ibanez site and they are offering some of the new guitars with this new tremolo or bridge... has anybody seen them in action or use it, does it stand like the Edge and LoPro quality, i know they are not the same quality but at least they must be better than others they have put in the market....

Humbucker Pickup Covers: With or Without...
...can you hear a difference? With the new type of material Gibson and SD uses for pickup covers, both company claim it doesn't affect the tone. Do you agree?

Question
Idk if this is a dumb question or not but what do people use preamps and poweramps for (like the kind that you buy seperate from an amp, ie. the marshall jmp-1 preamp or the el34-100/100)?

Summernights
The evening is warm and the sky is awesome, summertime is the best time especially with these very pretty nights, it never gets really dark for almost two months.
For 12-15 years ago I would have been out gigging and sweating by now

JB jr. vs. Hot Rails in the neck?
The Hot Rails is one of my all time favorite neck pickups for shredding. How does the JB jr compare in the neck position? I can't stand the full sized JB in the neck or bridge. But, since the jr's tend to sound a little different, I thought I might see what people thought. I know the Lil 59 and the Cool Rails are pretty similar and the Vintage Rails and Duckbucker are virtually identical. Just wondering if the JB jr could compare to the Hot Rails at all. Looking for some real world experience here, not just regurgitations of specs. Thanks

Dimebucker in a Jackson
So my soloist and my 2 other dinkys have a JB in the bridge. I try to keep the sound consistant so that when playing live and switching guitars, I don't have to change everything on the amp. I was wondering how a dimebucker would sound in this new dxmg. Has anyone ever tried this before? I love the sound of the dimebucker in the guitar that it is in now, but the dinky has an alder body and the guitar it is in now is made from cherry with a maple cap. Quite a bit of differance as far as wood-tone goes but who knows? Thanx, corey

Dr. Z Route 66
I got a chance to buy a Dr. Z Route 66. I know it is a 32 watt head, but I have absolutely no idea as what to expect tonewise, and I am curious about toneshaping as you only have Volume, Bass, Treble.

Strings wearing your frets?
So I was just talking to Charvel on MSN, and apparently someone posted on a forum somewhere that Ernie Ball strings wear down your frets? Is this true? If so why does it happen with Ernie Ball and not with other brands?
