i need a tuner that can tune my acoustic down a 1/2 step. but its not electric/acoustic, its just acoustic. so do i need one of those microphone tuners or whatever they are. and can they tune a half step down?

hey fellas......i was just out to Guitar Center to do some amp shopping, and i played through a Ampeg Super Jet, which i think it just a reissue of their 60s Jet model?.....anyways, it sounded really cool, i like the clean tone of it, and it became overdriven really nicely

Heres a tremelo kit from I must first give props to bungalowbill for helping me name it. (sorry dude someone already came up with VibroStomp, but you still pointed me right). This was a very fun pedal to build and when I plugged it in and it worked the first time with no flaws I was quite excited. I must say that I am quite impressed with sound quality. I will give a full review later after the honeymoon period.

Some of you probably remember the fiasco I had with a shop that I commissioned to make an Ibanez JS-style guitar body and neck for me, which after a long wait turned up some horrible craftsmanship and resulted in me returning the parts for a refund. Looks like someone else got stuck with them . I want to know where he pulled that number $1300 from, the completely finished body and neck cost me exactly HALF of that.

What things do you do to your guitar as time goes by with them? as opposed to what do you take to a shop/tech to have done?

Yeah, I can't believe it. It's hard to get this baby in Canada because it's still so new, but good ol' ebay is always there I managed to try it at a store that had a single unit, but they sold it by the time I went in to get it.

And I'm loving it! The guitar came with three APS-1 pickups: alnico 2 with raised and staggered polepieces. I thought the bridge pickup needed a little help so yesterday (Thanksgiving) I took it all apart and installed a Twangbanger.

I changed my sperzel-equipped strat's strings on friday before a gig, and noticed that the G and B strings were constantly slipping flat when stretched. Normally after a few stretches they stop slipping unless you really wrench them, but this time, the kept giving up a little under medium stretching. Replacing the strings only partially hepled too.
