I´ve currently got my 4x12 set up as an 8 ohm mono, tomorrow I´m gonna rewire her to auto split into 2x16 ohms when the second jack is plugged in...

anyone selling a floyd spaced duncan EVH?

I have a bad TAD EL-34B STR power tube... Can I replace the bad tube with a Ruby or Svetlana EL-34 as a bandaid until I can pick-up a matched set of new tubes?? The reason I ask is that the TAD tubes look MUCH different than the other EL-34s I have laying around.

I have a rackmount dual rectifier and I would like to replace the mounting ears. Any ideas where I can go.

What size nut files should I use? should they match the string guage, or should I use a file that's slightly larger. For example, if my high and low E's are .010 and .046, respectively, do I need files that are .010 and .046, or would it be better to use .013 and .050?

I'm still looking for one of these...anyone have one?

Ok, i've got some cash laying around, and im looking for a good fuzz pedal to give me that muse kind of fuzz, i believe its a quot;square wave fuzzquot;, anybody got any suggestions?

the other guitarist in my band just bought an empty 4x12 for $125. apparently it was built 10 or so years ago by some fella that makes furniture. it's built to look like a road case, it's got the metal corners and edges, metal grille, and it even has a front panel that pops on and off like a rack. very solid piece of gear, it could definitely take a beating and a half on the road. pretty cool IMO.
but anyways, when we took it apart to load it up with a set of vintage 30's, we discovered that the cabinet was built with what appears to be 9-ply mahogany.

im looking for the best possible emulation of really heavy distortion sounds only to use with my peavey classic 50 4x10 combo amp live and for recording.

i can't believe the tone! I finally installed that tweed bassman OT in my bandmaster and now that my JBL and fender are in perfect harmony impedence wise the tone is amazing.

Not that I’m serious about buying one, but I’m just wondering what your guys’ reviews of the Stiletto Deuce are like. I’m intrigued mostly about how the 5U4 rectos mesh with the EL34 power section. Does have a Marshall-esque flavor with the low sag of a typical 5U4 recto? I’m thinking that might be cool… sort of a “Modern Vintage.”

I am looking for a set of humbuckers for my Les Paul that can retain the PAF tones, (currently have Seth Lovers). I have several other guitars with PAF style pickups and I want something that can handle a bit more distortion for rock.
