did randy rhoads use the wammy bar alot? i know he had a wammy bar on 2 of his guitars. but did he use them alot?

Is it possible to cut a ceramic magnet lengthwise, e.g., with a hacksaw or some other tool?

I'm looking to get 4 DPDT push pull pots, but I can't seem to find anyone in the UK who sells them.

Stew mac and Rockinger don't have that, Warmoth only has 24 frets ones with a 10quot; radius... eh...
It's for a Charvel model series, the neck is therefore a little larger than on a Fender I believe. 22 frets, 25.5 scale, with a 12/16 radius. A 10/16 would be fine for me too. Birdseyes is a bonus If you know of anywhere to get that, thanks!

I'm currently overgoing a huge rewiring operation, and my loyal Squier is the only one needing to be finished.

So I was at Lamp;M dropping off a PA rental, and I happened to wander into the guitar department. As I usually do, I had a look at the lefty's they have in stock to see if anything looks interesting. Usually there's three or four Mexi-Strats and a couple of Epi LP's, but this time there was a Fender USA Strat that caught my eye. I asked one of the sales guys about it, and he said someone brought it in on trade-in earlier that day. Here are the specs:

Just got it today. LOVE IT so far. The neck is amazing and it sounds just great! I walked into the store, saw it and just had to have it. Wow. nice!

How many of you have switched out the stock Gibson burstbuckers on your Les Pauls (1amp;2 in my case)? The neck pup of my new '58 Reissue sounds good, but the bridge is a little harsh.

I posted a thread not long ago asking for advice about particular Dimarzio neck picks. Was wondering has anyone ever tried a quot;Fredquot; in the neck position? I know this is normally a bridge pick up and Satriani sure seems to get a wonderful sound out of it. I assume he uses the bridge pickup much of the time but i am not sure. Any thoughts or experience with this particular pick up especially in the neck. GOD BlESS!!!!!!!

Man! I have an Epiphone Flying V and an Epiphone Les Paul (just picked up the Paul today) and I think that they are fine guitars working man guitars. They need Duncans but what guitar doesn't .

Used a normal Plexitone as overdrive, and used both channels.

It's a 1999 model, and the pickups are passive and has the usual bass preamp package, e.g., volume knob (with push/pull for active/passive), blend pot, and three active EQ knobs (bass-mid-treble). The volume and blend are normal nobs while the EQ knobs are smaller.

I've been on here for a while, and keep reading about all of you that mod, and some of you make(?) your own effect pedals? what does this consist of, how hard is it, how expensive, and what quality can you get?
