I'm going to install a middle pickup in between my PAF Pro and FRED. I thought I'd get one of the new Rails designs. I want one that will keep up with the neck and bridge pickups. I won't be using it alone. It will be used for the standards 2 and 4 positions for the quack.

Well next week is my big pay cheque. I'll be getitng a big double pay cheque of over a grand maybe so its time to buy buy buy! Ive narrowed it down to three things.

I have a Telecaster that has a SD SH-1 Bridge Pickup mounted in the Neck position. The screws are located toward the neck. My question: What is the difference between a SH-1 Bridge pickup and an SH-1 Neck pickup? Are they wound differently, have different magnets... My SH-1 does not really sound mellow, even though it's located in the neck position, which is what is prompting this question, but don't know if that's due to the Tele itself.

Finally got pics of my Warmoth Tele, albeit only the body and neck. Pictures came out absolutely horrible, but hey, it'll suffice until I get a decent camera.
I'm probably taking it in to get assembled tomorrow, and hopefully when she's all done I'll be able to take much better pictures. Enjoy until then!

I'll be trading my EMG's for a JB/Jazz set soon, and I wanted to investigate the JB a little more. I've heard time and time again that it's a really great pickup, but how does it sound in lower tunings like C standard, drop C, and all the way up from there to E standard? Is it muddy or defined? Will it crunch, scream, and sound as badass as the EMG 81 in the bridge?

Great condition, shows virtually no wear whatsoever. Asking $50, feel free to haggle, but know you will most likely be ignored. But who knows?!

I was hoping someone on here could help me here. I am quot;remodelingquot; my Fender Frontman 15R (1-8quot; speaker, 12quot; H, 13quot; W, 7quot;D) to look like an old blackface Fender Super, Twin, Deluxe, etc. I wanted to put some tilt-back legs on it like the ones on the old Fender amps, but I cannot find any. I realize Fender probably does not sell them amp; I have looked on Ebay, but I can't find any. The amp is 12quot; high so the legs will need to be around 8.75quot; They do not neccesarily have to be genuine Fender parts as you probably can't find them, but I would like for them to look similar.

Distorted tone is just sucking big time. Its too gritty and way too much of the crackle effect in the tone and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

I really love his Gretsch style pickups. I suppose his humbuckers would also be awesome. Does anyone have any experience with them?? I would like to know before I spend $120 on a pickup.

and it sounds terrible. I've got the AD60VTX. Maybe in the 1-12 combo the neodog is the better speaker? Everything sounds flubby and really has that wet blanket over the cab sound. I also have just a straight V30. Maybe I'll try that one as well. The Hellatones sound awesome in my 4x12 with my tube amps. I'm also going to play with the tubes when I get a few. Maybe that's the problem.

I need a clip of the jb bridge and jazz neck (clean and dirty if possible) in an lp. Want to be sure of the tone before a buy.

OK i was using my original 65 Deluxe non reverb tonight at a Jam with a drummer i know... took my strat that has 2 Noiseless Fender pickups and i added a Duncan JB to the bridge position... Man that amp hates the JB... Switch to the single coil's (or the Noiseless in this case) and that amp comes alive.... Any high output humbuckers do not sound good thru this amp...

I really never use the middle/bridge position of my 5 way so i thought of this-

OK. I have a Marshall mg30, and it has no mids, only bass and treble.
My question is , could the ge-7 boss equalizer solve my problem???
