Is this amp any good?

I have a Fast Track T in my tele bridge. Can anyone recommend a good tele humcancelling neck pickup to partner it. I was also considering changing the bridge pickup to a hot rails, so what goes with that also?

i fixed the hot rails today! it took about 3 hours worth of buying the solder and the coldheat soldering iron, (this thing kicks ass) soldering all the leads together, and then heat shrink tubing them so it doesnt come apart inside, but it was worth it! the hotrails gives a nice kick in the face to my amp when i switch to the bridge position! i love that its now completely hum free as well! the dimarzio in it before was a stacked humbucker but hummed like NUTS! check out the pictures!

hey, does anyone know what the duncan designed iommi is like?? with duncann designed pickups wouldnt the quailty all depend on the actual maker?? so this eagle thinggy maker in england (good ol england) coul dmake a nice pickup couldnt they?? duncan designed does not instantly = poop does it??

My dad has the right tool thing to do it, but I don't know how. I want to know what the resistance of the stock pickups on my raptor are.

So, i just got my new Gibson Les Paul Junior back from my tech yesterday. He set it up properly and did a little work on the nut. I have to say, that I'm amazed at how much more resonant this guitar feels than many other similar set neck mahogany slab guitars I've played. I've played a ton of mahogany set neck guitars, all of which had poly finishes, and compared to this, they all felt dead. This body shakes and rattles and I can feel it in my left hand and against my hip bone when I hit a chord. I'm not sure how many Gibsons are finished with nitro, but this is the first time I've played a quality nitro finished instrument, and I'm really really into it. Is this just a nice piece of wood, or do most nitro finished guitars respond this way?

This is an absolute awesome pedal in AS NEW condition no box. First issue without the lame tonesucking LED. Inside it is personally dedicated to somebody,not me! has the number 000012 inside possibly indicating the 12th one made. Not a sctach and is handmade. The retroman site sells these for 175. I've noticed when I crank my Peavey Classic 30 that there seems to be a lot of vibration coming from the chasis. I really notice it when I kick on my SD pickup booster and play lower notes. I took care of the tube rattle with that tube tamer kit on eBay and have been real happy but I can't take the vibrations on higher volume. The mods section on Blueguitar says that this is common on the Classic 30 and he recommends removing the chassic and adding weatherstipping where it comes in contact with the cabinet, then reinstalling. Seems like it should work but has anybody tried it?

So i'm wiring my full shred in my ibanez (2 hum, 2 vol, tone, 3 way, 2 split) and my tone pot does the reverse of what it should do. On the 'zero' setting i get the treble heavy sound i should get on the 'ten' setting. And i get lots of bass when it is on 'ten'. I've checked all of the wiring numerous times and the only other solution i could think of is a faulty capacitor?

does anyone know what the back contour size would be for a MIM standard strat? and/ or the 60's strat, and/ or the 72 teles? if so what are they?

I'm a big fan of mahogany strat bodies - and I feel I have good experience with mahogany and alder and ash bodies. I was wondering about basswood though - what's the sound like? I know they use it on JEMs and JSes and I guess a lot of RGs too...

Hey I got a Fender Texas Special which comes with the SRV pickups from his signature guitar...I like the sound...but i want something even hotter and possibly more noiseless. After checking out a bunch of pickups I've found I like the Hot Rails the best because of their fat humbucker tone...but yet I still want to produce an extremely CLEAN sound when I need to. I've got a vintage Blues Deville 4X10 amplifier and I just renewed the tubes so I'm really looking for a versatile sound right now. Thanks a lot if anyone can help.

I was wondering if there's any risk in staining a light rosewood fretboard dark?

Not sure if this is in the correct forum, but I am looking into purchasing some kind of effects board. I've gone a long way in not having any of my own effects. I'm sure my friends are sick of me borrowing there pedals. I am looking into purchasing either a Boss effects board or a PodXT Live. I am kind of leaning away from the Pod due to A. I don't plan on doing tons of recording. and B. I wasn't exactly blown away by the sound clips, it seems very digital but that is expected. Even though I havn't heard many clips of the boss, I think it will be the right choice. I may need to browse more info about it.

Just curious. Seen this pop up a few times lately. Generally, what thickness constitutes a quot;topquot; rather than a veneer?
