Well, I left the Country band I was playing with and I’m playing fulltime with my Praise band at church. I have also started a little project with the Praise leader in my church, who is a good friend of mine and a really great vocalist (the best I have worked with). I'm looking to buy a Strat or Strat-type guitar and would like the best bang for the buck. Please give me your vote and explain why you chose the model you did...

I'm sure there is at least one 'expert' out there which knows this. I have picked up an HFS that has a black, white, red, and braided ground wire. I just want to wire it into a standard les-paul like 3-way switch (no split). Is the white the 'hot' and black shielded the 'ground?' Is so, do I just tape off the red? Or should it be different than this?

So if your playing a combo and you want it to run into a speaker cabinet, say 4x12...

I need to get some new pedals! I'm tossing up between the Jim Dunlop collection, The Cry Baby from hell, Jimi hendrix fuzz/waa, a 535 q or a Classic wah wah cry baby. Maybe even a phase 90. Do you guys have any other recomendation's for pedals? All i have is a Zoom 505II

I'm trying to wire my C-1 Classic back to stock; it's got one of those special switches to split the pickups in the notched positions. I can't find a diagram anywhere for these things! Anybody got anything?

right now i have my bc rich warlock that has a chesswood body and stock pups. floyd rose double locking ect. all the neat stuff like that. i run it though my dsl. as of now i dont like how the pinch harmonics sound. too weak. even on the lead 2 channel. i want to get a jerry cantrell tone that he has on the degradation trip album, and i also want it to sound full similar to zakk wylde's tone. and colorful. nothing too over the top (nothin too thin, too muddy, especially too bright.) and it has to get good sounding cleans. i love my cleans to be beautiful. heres the thing.

This is an AXIOM Tone clone Mercury Output transformer w/ 8 and 4 ohm taps. It's generally accepted that these Mercury Mag transformers are the best of the best. i've been curious about treble boosters and finally bought one -- it hasn;t arrived yet, but i'm wondering, can you use a treble booster with an overdrive? which comes first in the chain?

Can anyone tell me the coil color code used on an American Fat Strat with a mega switch? I need to know the colors for the start and finish of the coils so I can translate a Fender wiring schematic with Duncans and wire up some Lawrence L-500's.

I really haven't taken the time since I went to Odie's and crashed my Expedition to set up my Lesters properly. Odie made a new bone nut for one, and re-worked the standard Gibson nut on the other.

Hey guys, Ive recently bought this old 1980's ( 1983-87 ) strat,wich i just love and adore, especially the sound, but i want to give her an Upgrade. I'm thinking of going the SRV route and getting all gold hardware, and a Black Pickguard. It hasnt had its electronics replaced ever, or the pots, so it hink that would be a good idea ( it has it's woes every so often ). Can someone point me in the direction for Gold Fender Parts, and a Really really good electronic kit upgrade?

He has contacted overseas company and wants to have his own ( low-mid price ) line built. Kinda like Kurt at Rondo. We are trying to decide what bodies to offer first. He is thinking different than LP shape, but will consider.

im going to order a floyd rose for my strat, and i dont know the fretboard radius. how can i figure this out? is it marked anywhere? will the serial number help me out? i have no clue, so someone help me out here!

Hello fellow toners. I am looking to upgrade the neck pickup in a mahogany body with a maple cap, set mahogany neck guitar that has a JB in the bridge. I a m looking for versatility with this guitar (Rock,metal,blues). I have heard the 59 can be woofy in mahogany and that the Jazz does not handle gain as well as the 59. What are your opinions on this?
