Will I have to reverse the C5 hot and ground in order to avoid phase problems with the mid and neck(blend pot) Laces? I've heard you have to do it when combining Duncans and Dimarzios, not sure about with Laces tho.

What color would you call this Paul? I am looking for the official Gibson color name.The first picture looks like Cherryburst. I don't know about the other one, though. I'm assuming that's the same guitar in both. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hello all, anyone know anything about the Egnater TOL 50?

I got a pair of A8s in from chill (thanks a million!!) last week and this weekend I got to make use of them. Originally, I knew I was gonna put one in my C5 because of all the hype about the Custom-8's. Friday evening I got that put together with new strings and all. I dig the sound. I had always fought with the C5 because when playing chordy stuff in my SG, it just got a little mushy. I could hear the bass note and the top note and not much in between. The A8 really kicked the mids and clarity up a bunch. The sound is a lot more aggressive now, even verging on harsh, but to be fair, I have hardly toyed with the pickup height or amp settings yet (haven't had much time).

I not very familar with ibanez guitars, but I was thinking about getting on next summer. I'm looking to get a good guitar for shredding. I heard that rg's are pretty good for those purposes. I'm looking at getting one around $1000 at the max, so maybe up to $1400. I'm going to go to guitar center with my friend when I go back to college this weekend. Which Ibanez guitars would you guys recommend for me to try? I really want to try a pgm.

Man i just came home from the local store with a set of Duncans for a great price.... These new pair sets of Humbuckers are a great value.... I saved about $75 Canadian by buying a JB/Jazz combo over buying them apart.... That is really cool!!!!!

Okay today I plugged in my Vox Wah and when I turned it on and pushed down, it made one of the shrillest sounds ive ever heard in my life, it almost sounded a bit like a very high pitched dog bark or yelp, but very very high pitched, it scard my dog and scared me too, it made me jump a little cause it was an almost eerie sound, but it really sounded horrible...

I'm think I'm going to wire the humbuckers on my guitar for the spin-a-split setup found on the tech page ( from : localhost//website...techtips.shtml) very soon but I got a quick question. It might sound foolish but I have no previous experience with wiring so I don't know a lot yet.

I played an accoustic guitar last year that had the Buzz Feiten tuning system on it. It literally blew me away. I would definitely reccomend it for an accoustic, but I've heard that you can't tell as much difference on an electric. I was wondering if any of you that had it done to an electric thought otherwise.

I have been asking how a JB would sound in Alder. So I bought an Alder Yamaha Pacifica. Sounds warm and full I had to add a little treble as expeced. I got it at Sam Ash for $130

I'm looking at a telecaster, I've never actually played one because my friends said they were bad. But all the talk around here has changed my opinion, so I was wondering what are some good models, I'd like it under $1600 AUD, so about $1000 American. Any other info on them would be great, thanks.

Which if any of the recent or new Strat models has a rolled edge fretboard and med jumbo to jumbo frets?

what tubes originally came in a 2204? (year:1982) i have 6550's in mine now . are these good enough ? they seem to be .
