what do you guys think would be a fair price to ask for a gibson 498T bridge humbucker in like-new condition with about 10'' of lead left that i just recently pulled out of my SG that i've had for 3 months? i was thinking somewhere in the ballpark of $40, give or take a few bucks.

Gold Pole Pieces on P-90 Stack
Can anyone point me to a source for gold pole pieces? I want to replace the chrome ones on my P-90 Stacks. The rest of the guitar has gold hardware and it looks a little weird.

Favorite Strings
For electric my favorites are the Regular Ernie Ball 10-46 and the Beefy Slinky 11-54. I've used them for years. Great lasting tone.

Series/ parallel switch blend pot for strat
I was thinking about strat wiring options, and with a DPDT push pull pot, I came up with this: connect the quot;groundquot; leads of the neck and bridge pickups to the middle lug of one pole; lower lug of that pole to ground, upper lug of that pole to the middle pickup's hot lead; jumper across the two upper poles; middle lug of the other pole to the top of the blend pot, with it's wiper going to ground, which blends the middle pickup in and out only in series mode. The outputs are connected as normal. With the blend pot replacing one tone pot, use the tone side of the switch to change tone caps. Any thoughts?

help needed with telecaster toggle switch
I've got a 72' telecaster thinline model, my biggest complaint is the toggle switch, if it is switched to a rythm position it is easily changed to a treble with downstrokes... so i've gotten a gibson L type toggle switch so it can be more out of the way when playing... what i need to know is what kind of wiring diagram am i gonna need to take to this guy who is doing the soddering for me? he has never wired a L type toggle switch
i was looking in the diagrams on the seymour main page with the 2 humbuckers 1 tone 1 volume 3way switch

Mega Score!!!
I just scored a Mesa Stereo 50:50 poweramp, REALLY cheap (trust me, you DON´T want to know how cheap, you´ll kill yourself), only thing wrong is :No tubes

Power Tube Saturation
Why is this regarded so highly? After I complained incessantly about the thin sound of my SG, a bunch of forum members told me that the guitar would come to life if I played through a cranked amp. Well I finally had that chance this weekend as I cranked my Classic 30 with a new G12H30 and once I brought the POST volume up above 5 or 6 I thought the amp was going to explode. It lost all of it's ability for articulation as it turned to mush. Maybe I was doing something wrong, or maybe I just need to get a Marshall, but I don't see how you can play past halfway and get a decent sounding chord...let alone deal with the ear bleeding!!

Floyd saddle question w/ pics.
I just have a question about a cracked saddle I have on the high e string. It first had a crack in it for quite a long time and I couldn't get the guitar to stay in tune that well. Would this effect the tuning even though the string is clamped down tight? Here's a pic of it at first.

Adding either jb jr. and jb to a s/s/s strat
I was wondering which pickup i should get installed in my fender stratocaster with the standard single-coil pickups? I am looking for a punk sound from my strat. It says on the website that the jb jr. sounds similar to the jb. I'm just taking the jb jr. in consideration because I will need to get my guitar modified to I could add the jb in the bridge, so it would basically cost more for the jb pickup installation than with just installing jb jr. If anyone knows any estimates to installation either of these pickups in my guitar I would appreciate it.
