i was about to buy a jcm 900 100 watter combo for 575 bucks but after reading about it i decide not to buy it , i want metal up the ass tone , all tube combo ???? help please if i dont buy it this week im gonna spend the money !!!!!!!!

Traynor Blue 50 is a great sounding amp. I have heard some clips that have been spectacular.

900's are great, you have to just get one of the right models! The rest kind of suck!! Me and ErikH here on the board both have a 90-92 model 2100 and LOVE them!!!! I have owned a Peavey XXX, Marshall 2555SL quot;slashquot; and guess which one I still have? Yup, the 900 model 2100!!!! Make sure it is between a 90-92 model though!

If you want an amp that can give you pure metal at bedroom levels, and also be able to be as loud as a 100W Marshall, get a used Line 6 HD147. Most L6 or Vox modeling rigs are better for the situation you're in. At least you'll still be able to have heavily distorted tone at a level that won't have your family freaking out.

thats the thing i really want a tube amp!!!!

A Line 6 HD147 will treat you right!!!!

Also, I must agree with the 50w blue traynor!!!

The won't sound like a tube amp at all.

The clips aren't of my XXX, so it wouldn't really help. It's all done with my V-amp2.

Here's a clip of the 5150 with a nice thick heavy sound and great articulate; while not the heaviest, it'll give you an idea of it's tone.
