I had this guitar handmade here in North Georgia for me. I have had the guitar since October of 04, but have just gotten around to posting. I have really never gotten into acoustics just because I had never really owned or played one that sounded the way I thought it should so it was really hard to be inspired to write acoustic stuff. That all changed when I met Allen from Baruke Guitars and played a few of his handmade guitars. The one I fell in love with was his personal acoustic. I immediately knew that if I had a guitar like that I would be able to be more creative on the acoustic. This guitar is so responsive and has such a big sound I can't hardly put it down. The craftsmanship is out of this world since Allen does everything by hand himself from start to finish. It was really cool to be able to basically build my look and sound with this guitar. Can you tell by the fret markers that I like Gretsch too?

I just had to show this puppy off. It's like being a proud new father for someone that's still single!!!! If the link below to the pictures is wierd then click on the quot;My Collectionquot; signature and check out the Baruke!!!

B,
nice ax ... is that an Adirondack top?

you might also try a post over on The Acoustic Guitar Forum

That's one sexy acoustic!

That's a really cool looking guitar....nice appointments. You don't have to tell us exactly, but approx what did that set you back. The reason I ask is that I'm not far from North Georgia, and that could be a cool next project for me.

nice acoustic, but i am seriously drooling over your othe gear man, those gretsch's are amazing, and thats a nice epi too, but damn that duojet is sweet, nice amp by the way too.

EDIT: damn that amp, i really love that. If you dont mind me asking, how much did ya get that for?

looks sweet! Where in North Georgia are you? I'm in Suwanne, but lately have been playing quite a bit in Dahlonega.

BTW...jeff, if you decide to come tro Georgia, hit me up...first round's on me! That goes for all of you guys!

Nice guitar, bound neck, looks like ebony fret board, nice, very nice appointments. What are the spec's on the rest? I'll bet she sounds very sweet.

Congrats

found this on the internet, apparently this builder has a website Baruke Guitars

quot; The guy who invented the firequot;:I work in Duluth and am moving to Sugar Hill Friday. I bought my first house 2 weeks ago. I'll finally not be in an apartment so I can play as loud as I want when I want!!!!! Where in Dahlonega do you play? My girlfriend goes to school up there.

About the acoustic... Allen the builder and I are friends and used to work together so he cut me a sweet deal a good while before he started building for a living. You can have a completely handmade guitar for what you would pay for a mass produced Martin or Taylor (firewood lol...just kiddin...well maybe not :-) . This thing is completely hand made!!!! It's a steal in my book. Just check out and call Allen for pricing.

As far as the reliced Blues Junior I got it at GC ATL for $500. I talked them down from $560.

very nice.....what's 115 stand for?

1:15 is my favorite verse from the Bible its I Timothy 1:15-16. It really mirrors my view on God's work in my life.
