I've got two Fender grey bobbin single coils. I think they was made in December of 73. Atleast that's what one of the stamps say on the bottom. They're wound to about 5.4K or so. Flat poles too. Got some black coil wire. I've also got an 80's Fender single coil, but it's got a formed black plastic bobbin. I cant remember the exact code on the bottom, buit I remember it being from the 80's. Same flat poles, same black coils. As a set, how much do you think these are worth? Oh yeah, the 80's one was replaced by me on a customers strat, cause it was RWRP for the other two pickups. The guy got tired of 'em after awhile and got some DMZ's. Anyway, I tried searching ebay, and wasnt finding a whole lot on these things.

the earliest non staggered CBS Fender Strat pickups are not usally someting people look for, in fact...most if the time people take them out in favor of a good aftermarket pickup or an older Fender pickup.

I had a set from a 75 Strat for a while, I think I finally sold them for about 40 or 50 bones for the set of 3.

wow, that sucks for some pricing huh? LOL.

I've got a 75 right in front of me that I just replaced with a Vintage Hot. Flat poles. Reads about 6.01k with a very short lead. These aren't worth much unless you can find someone restoring a mid 70s to original condition. Might be worth something to them.

anybody got a early 70's strat they're redoing?
