I'm itching to start a new project, but until the weather gets a bit warmer, I've made do with a makeover for my Schecter V-1 plus. Here's the before shot - pretty stock apart from a Pearly Gates in the bridge.

Ok. add a lightly flamed maple neck with abalone inlays, a shop floor C5 in cream (thanks to John at Blackrose Customs), a couple of SSL-2's, some cream and gold parts, a coil tap and a bit of patience and here's what she looks like now. Playability and tone are great and she looks mighty purdy!!!

p.s sorry the pic's aren't sharper, my digital camera is crap!!! the pic's certainly don't do it justice

The maple neck and gold hardware look sharp. I'm normally not very fond of gold hardware, but you have an exception. Deffinatley an improvement.

awesome

Looks awesome. But the knobs are kind of weird. Strat knobs on a...well, not a Strat? Whatever makes you happy I guess. But I have to agree with big_black. I usually don't go for gold hardware, but it looks really nice on your guitar.

Thanks for checking it out guys.
Jag, I prefer strat control knobs on my guitars and I thought the cream knobs looked kinda cool together with the cream pickups rather than the more usual gold ones. Thanks for looking

That is absolutly beautiful. I love everything about it. I personally wouldn't want a floyd, but thats just me.
Rock On

Very cool man, looks great!

How 'bout some gold knurled knobs?

I happen to like gold hardware, so I think it looks great!

But the knobs seem out of place.
