pivot tables
Is there any way that I can hide one of the fields of the pivot?
Basically I have created a pivot with fields like Department, Level,
Location, # People... which is customized based on a particular Department
only, but i do not want to quot;showquot; the quot;Departmentquot; pivot field in the report.

Color pallette changed spontaneously, what the...?
Is there any known bug, spyware, or otherwise where the color pallette
is changed without any input from the user?
I just had a user complain of the colors changing. I stopped by and
everthing looked fine with the exception of the color pallette. All of

Y scale for P. ie when P$= 2, QD=10 amp; QS=3 P needs to be Y scale
I am trying to create a graph the compares Quantity Demanded and Supplied in
relation to a particular price to find the equilibrium (intersection).
The problem is, I have no idea how to make one row the Y scale in my graph.
and the other two (QD and QS) the two line graphs which should intersect.
For example at a price $0, the QD is 11 units and the QS is 0. At a price $

Combine INDEX amp; LOOKUP?
Is there a way to combine these two functions where the last 2 parameters on
the index function are dependant on the value of cells in row 1 and col A??
It is a bit difficult to understand what you want but ...

Formula/formatting to omit trailing zeros
I need calculated values to be displayed without any trailing zeros. For
example:
if the result is 12.0, I need it displayed as 12
if the result is 5.50, I need it displayed as 5.5
but... in a worksheet of calculated values, I need the values displayed to
example:

Excel Database
Im trying to create a database on my excel spreadsheet so i can then
analyse this data using graphs etc.....

Why won't the Auto Fill options button display when I drag the fill line?
Does this mean you see the popup, but almost all the items are disabled?

Wrapped text is not displaying in Excel
Suddenly wrapped text is not displaying in Excel. I can select the cell and
see the text in the function bar that it is in the cell and if I turn off
wrapping it displays. None of this text is very long. Thoughts?
