Ok, this might seem like a stupid question but where is a good place to but SD's? I was looking at the AMS and they mention that the pickup i want (a 59 nickle covered neck) is non-returnable. I thought all SD's had a 21 day return policy?

So, theres on at a guitar shop near me in good condition cherry red varnished, (like angus') for 1200$ is this a good price (not original pups)

a lot of metal players use them these days... any opinion on the tone, playability and quality of these guitars?

I play LPs and my main one has a set of PGs in there that I have been very pleased with. However, I'm starting to think of a change. I've listened to a few live recordings of my band recently and my sound is thinner and sharper than I had imagined.

i'm wonder if the m300 may be a good digidelay fo guitar purpose.

I love my MIM Nashville Tele; it's got the Fender thang covered in my book. Now I need a guitar to do the Gibson fat kinda sound, so I'm thinking about a double-humbucker FrankenTele. I used to own an American-made Schecter PT (see old Bamp;W pic at the link in my signature). That guitar is the gold standard for H/H Tele's if you ask me, but they're extremely rare, and I can't afford to buy one or even re-create it out of new parts.

I have a Les Paul and I'm wanting to replace the bridge pup. I'm wanting to know if you can put an EMG-81 in the bridge position but still keep the stock passive neck pup. Because I don't have a need for an active neck pup. OR if one was to go active, both pups have to be there. And if I can, how do you wire the passive neck pup and the EMG-81 together?

I'm gonna play at graduation on friday and we're playing 3 songs (Sex machine, Our house and Night boat to cairo), they all got different sounds so i wonder which of my two basses should i take to the gig? I can only take one with me.

Hey everyone, was goin through some old photos the other day, and it turns out my mum used to have a Marshall stack! I'm pretty sure it's a JTM45/50 or something, but all the photos I've seen of them have all the inputs together over to the right. This one has two to the right and two around the middle. Anyone know specifically what kind it is???
Looks to me like a middle/late 70's Arsist head with the matching 2x12 cab.

It seems that the vast majority of the boutique amps are based on a power tube other than the 6L6. Who makes the best 6L6 boutique amp, in your opinion?
