Is there any way to have Excel assume, as it should, that a number input
in a formula means a value? For example, is there a way to change the
default so that instead of inputting quot; 7 8quot; to calculate 15, that I
could just input quot;7 8quot;. Lotus used to work this way, and I have to
believe that Excel would allow the same capability.--
