Just got done doing this today, it's actually a track my new band wrote part of yesterday, and I finished it up today.

This is my favorite recorded tone so far, I don't even know if the PODxt will do it better... which sucks, because it's on it's way! If it ends up being worse, though, I'll just sell it, and I would've saved money.

The chain was my C-1 Classic, 85 for rhythms, 85 for that tapping bit, and 81 for the actual lead, into my new TS-9, and the V-amp2.

Just updated it, more defined beginning of the lead (deminished sweeps), and better mixing, as well as some bugs smoothed out.

me likes, great job, love the tone, in fact my new guitars pickups just gave out and i think im gonna need to replace em and the tech has almost convniced me on EMG's... so this helps even more... but back to the point, catchy song and great playing

That was pretty cool but the snare drum just pissed me off, I couldn't stand the dang thing!

Throughout the song, the sound of it, or just during the blasts?

Sorry man, gotta agree here. You're writing stuff beyond any 14 year old metal head I know but you need to get yourself better drum sounds!

Liked the clip, but the very first tapping lick sounds out a little for some reason.

Very few people stick up anything here that isn't 4/4, not that it's a bad thing, just it's refreshing to hear stuff like this now and again

Updated with new snare, let me know what you guys think of that one!

Very good. I'd dump the snare blast and make it a double bass part instead. The writing and harmony parts are excellent. You are making a lot of progress dude. Nice job.

Wow, killer tone and playing all around. I'm gonna **** a brick if you get a better tone from the POD XT. Is that the Soldano model on the V-Amp, with the TS-9 as a boost?

JB, I've been listening to my friends clips of the XT, and they're definitely better! It's insane! This was the Custom Hi Gain model and TS-9.

(i havent listened to it yet, but...) do you like the TS-9 better than the SD-1?

Changed the snare and blasts on RGN's recommendations, what do you guys think now?

TS-9, by far. Much more natural and not SS sounding.
