Hey all,
been recently thinking about getting a new soundcard, if it will provide me with a better input.
i know sod all about em, and im using the stock one that came with the pc.
Looking at one of these:
from : localhost/cgi.ebay.co.uk/M-AUDIO-DELTA-...QQcmdZViewItem
I use an M-Audio 24/96 and have had nothing but amazing results with it!
I had an E-mu card before that, and it actually caused me to have to re-format my harddrive . ****in E-mu; people either have no problems with them, or every problem in the world. Nobody has ever had a problem with M-Audio, that I can remember.

Cool Well your recording of sarajevo sounded pretty neat
I'll be getting one of those M-Audio cards soon... Heard nothing but good things about them
Kinda OT, but do you have to spend a heap more to get one with a digital in? I wanna go from my GT-8 using the digital out...

Good question!?
I've got an EMU 0404, never had a bit of trouble with it. It already comes with digital I/O too. $99
As for better sound, there's no question. A good sound card will make your recordings much cleaner and clearer sounding. I was using an Ensoniq AudioPCI (Soundblaster PCI 64) previously. My new recordings blow the others away in clarity and detail.
