I hate to do it, but it's time to part with my very cool DeArmond.

The story with these is that Guild was making them in Korea in the 90's and the quality was excellent, and actually rivaled US Guilds. When Fender bought Guild in the late 90's, they discontinued them but they were considered a closet gem. This DeArmond M-72 was the best of them, in my opinion, because it has a mahogany back, flame maple veneer top, and two tone chrome/gold hardware, plus US made DeArmond pickups. Think of this guitar as a cross between a Les Paul Std and Gretsch Duo Jet, with quality similar to an Epiphone Elitist. The transblack is lighter and more highly figured than the picture shows. Looks awesome under the lights!

In 96/97, this guitar sold at GC for $500, and it was worth every penny.
Mine is basically a time capsule guitar in 9.95 condition, with a killer transblack flametop, clear pickguard, minty two tone hardware, hard case, and setup perfectly. Don't pay $750 for an Edwards, Orville, Epi, or Agile!!
