Hi everyone,
does anyone know what guitar Gary is playing on quot;Pretty womanquot;, the first song on the Live in Montreux DVD?
It looks like a Gibson /with some custom pickups/ but the headstock is nothing like an LP..
anyone?
I am really curious..He plays a Soldano amp and with this guitar his tone is amazing!
Although it's probably just in his fingers , I believe he would sound great with any guitar and amp you might give him..

I haven't seen the DVD yet, but he used to have a signature model Heritage that was LP shaped. That might be it. As for tone, Gary can make a broom stick and peice of wire sound incredible

that is a heritage gary moore model(h-150) with emg pickups

I want that DVD!!! Big Gary Moore fan..... mind you i only have 4 albums since they rae all exensive imports here in Canada and have to be ordered in... A lot of my friends that love classic rock have never heard him before..

Ya his vocals are more rough then others but i still love that rawness! that Shapes Of Things cover just suited his voice and guitar style...
