These suckers are like impossible to find. The last time my local shop got one it was gone within 30 minutes!! So I called today and they got one late yesterday. I immediately went and bought it a few minutes ago. First impressions is that it is MUCH easier to move around compared to the Boogie Recto 2X12 I demo'd then returned to GC. I fits nicely in my trunk and while the Boogie took up my back seat (would not fit in the trunk). With the casters it is easy to move around- my back still hurts from hauling around the Boogie. As far as looks, the Bogner looks it would fit right right in with a country band and the Boogie looked pretty mean. Mine has the tan basket weave front. Anyway, can't wait to get home and fire her up with my VHT!!!!!!!!! !!!!! I am hoping this is the end all of 2X12 cabs and all evidence suggests that it is!!!

good luck - hope it hits the spot for ya'

let us know

cheers

Hope it works out....if not, those splawn cabs are the schnizl as well. Scott has a bunch of 2x12's in black with the cane grill sitting in his shop ready to go. However, I would find it hard to believe that the Bogner wouldn't just rock your world.

Oh man I envy you so much! I hopefully will be able to trade in my Mesa Boogie amp for that cab, please keep your fingers crossed for me . Those are about the best cabs one could find. Did you have a Mesa 4x12, because the 2x12 Recto cab was smaller than the Bogner right?

No, I had the 2X12 Boogie. I was short and fat, the Bogner is taller and thinner. The Bogner fits into my trunk by sliding it in on its back, the Boogie was too fat to fit at all. I am itching to plug it in!!!

I like mine. One thing that took me a minute to figure out was that the rubber feet have to be removed if you use the casters, otherwise the feet scrape the wheels.
I bought mine used in a roadcase, but the damn thing is so big and heavy I don't even use the roadcase. I still need to buy a Tuki cover for mine. I still use the 4-12 a lot more though. You should get a Tuki padded cover ASAP.

Although I really like the sound, I've been tempted to replace one of the Vin 30's with an H-30 or Weber Hellatone. Not a big priority as of now.
