title says it all really - if you have a LW heavy metal in one hand and a LW classic in the other, how would you tell which was which? are they stickered?

and what about position-wise?

Dont really know, but you could test them with a multimeter/ohmeter dealie however you do it, and see which one is hotter?

you can't measure actives with a multimeter

i'll just have to install it and trust my ears...

Since they're active, there's an onboard preamp, so you wouldn't actually be measuring the resistance of the coil.

i've just spotted a little 'E' embossed on the back epoxy.. any bells ringing yet?
