these I did with my buddy's borrowed presonus tube mic pre amp....

I have no idea what I'm doin' or where to put the mic...so this was the best I could get it after MUCH trial and error...lol..

the top three are the ones usin' the mic pre and sm57

Cool clips. I'm getting more of a clear idea of the actual sound of Splawns from your clips. They definitely remind me of the best Lee Jackson modded JCM800's I've heard.....like the one's Paul Gilbert used to use in Racer X. I get about the same kind of sounds out of my 50W Jubilee, since all these amps have that hotrodded JCM800 tone. The Splawn is definitely the Ferrari of Marshall metal tone.

The miracle man clip has a perfect tone for the song and the new mic sounds a thousand times better.

LOL...sorry about that...haha...I've been a little clip happy lately, I admit...but after finally gettin' a somewhat decent recording setup, I just HAD to make some that did the amp some sorta justice, ya know??
