i've always run my DD3 in the loop with no problems for the past 2 or so years that i've had it. it's been a few months since i used it, but today i fired it up and at first everything sounded alright, but after it was on for a couple of seconds the tone of each repeat would completely deteriorate. it's hard to describe exactly what it sounded like, but each repeat that came through would get progressively more fuzzier/distorted, accompanied by some very nasty white noise.

i know for a fact that the cables are good.
battery isn't a problem, there isn't one in there and i'm using the power supply.

but the weird thing is....when i placed it in fromt of my amp, it worked just fine

anyone heard of this happening before, or know any way i can fix it? or should this just be a sign that i should get the line6 DL4 that i've been GAS'ing for?

Sounds like a problem with your effects loop and not your pedal then...If it's a tube driven effects loop, try changing the tube...

perhaps that's worth a shot. didn't even think of that one, thanks man.
