just put a used Am strat in layaway(will have it out in 2 weeks) but its time to start thinking about what i want to do with it. I was thinking either putting in blues saraceno in the bridge, or just leaving it single coil and going with the Twangbanger. i play mainly classic amp; alternative rock, but also like some twang in meh strings.
I have a JB Junior in the bridge and the other two are Alnico 2's. Great for classic rock and blues.
The Twangbanger works for me! An awesome pickup.
Im a recent Twang Banger convert, its a great single coil.It has as much sack a Humbucker.
