Here's the 1999 Parker Fly Deluxe. The color is Italian Plum (deep purple). I took ALOT of pics, but I couldn't get the color to show. It didn't help that as soon as I went outside to take them, the sun decided to hide behind the clouds.
The last pic is the lower horn. My brother in law's wife had a cat that decided that this was a scratching post. He has since found a new residence; but he's lucky, his predecessor suffered more severe consequences for a lesser offense. As such, I'm learning quot;Cat Scratch Feverquot;.And now the Taylor 110E (May 2005). She may be a low end Taylor, but SHE'S STILL A TAYLOR!Wow! That Parker is gorgeous. Have you got used to the controls yet?

The Taylor ain't bad, either.

The Fly has some serious mojo, bro. My Nitefly is cool, and very responsive to the POD...making it possible to mimic quite a few other axes.

The Fly, OTOH, has it's own voice (aided by the SD upgrades--CC/AIIP). It just quot;feelsquot; right. The only difference in the controls is the addition of the Master volume and the capability of using the Fishman transducers even when using a mono output (the Nitefly has to have the stereo cable/connections for the acoustic pups to work). The pics DO NOT do the finish justice. It is a deep plum color that SHINES!

The Taylor does as expected: every string, every note rings out (unless my fumbling fingers get in the way). Fingerpicking rings out quite well. After all, it IS a Taylor

Holy crap that Parker is gorgeous!

Thanks. It just arrived last week from (down the road from you in) Redlands.

I miss the huge pics you had earlier

nice axes

cat's gone... good stuff

slade

How do you find the electro voice of the Taylor?

really cool stuff bro!!!

NEW STUFF ROCKS!!!

That Fly is very nice, wish I could jibe with them I think they are very cool guitars. I am still looking to try one of their single cuts, good luck with it.

I only wanted 2 see u bathing in the purple rain!

Purple rain, PURPLE RAIN!
The electric voice of the Taylor is very true to the acoustic sound.

In fact, I'm playing it tonight at church. When I test drove it in the PA, the soundtech started tweaking, then checked herself...she set the eq flat, and VOILA!

nice axes LS

BTW, whats that thing behind the bridge do(between end of bridge and butt of guitar)?
whats the rest of the wiring scheme?

I think its the rest of the trem, as the quot;holequot; you see I think is for the bar.

That is one hack of a colour you've got on that Parker.......

The taylor is extremely lovely though

That's a trem-wheel for adjusting the trem-springs. The 1999 models were the last ones to have it.

Oh, thats cool.

Very nice. I've always liked the higher-end parkers. I'd own one if they did them with more robust necks.

Well, THEY DON'T!
