Has anyone played this tube pedal? I'm considering this or the Rat for my new distortion pedal. I need something that'll give me a nice distorted sound with my seymour duncan's AND will help for solos. Something that can color my tone. Any one have/played one of these?
it'l definitely color your tone. My brother has it and I have the rocktron metal planet. I prefer my metal planet for higher gain harmonics...while the silver dragon has a nice overdrive on the first pedal and then a huge higher gain kick in where you can choose the quot;typequot; or quot;tonequot; of the distortion on pedal 2.
Its a nice pedal for the cash. 99 bucks on ebay brand new from a compnay in utah.
