Marshall 1960A Cabinet
I have a Marshall 1960A cabinet for sale. The wiring is set up so it only runs in mono, but this can be fixed very easily. I'm looking to get $375 for it. You'll also have to pay for shipping. Price is negotiable. PM me if you're interested.

Anyone know about the SD Stag-Mag?
I'm thinking about this pickup for the bridge position of my Godin SD. The Stag-Mag would be two single coils which can be combined to form a humbucker, but how would I do that? Does the SM come with a push-pull pot (the Godin only has two controls: volume and tone)? How do the two modes (SC and HB) of the Stag-Mag sound?
It doesn't COME with a pot, but you could get one to do that. When split, it's one of the best single coil sounds you'll get from a humbucker. As a bucker, it's not as thick in the midrange as a normal one, and it's pretty bright. I have one in the neck of my main guitar and like it there, but I don't think I'd use one at the bridge.

Processor blues
I've got a Boss GT-6. I love it dearly. Since I've owned it (probably 6 months or so), it's gotten me everywhere I want to be tonally, and I still discover new **** whenever I goof with it. I have absolutely no problem dealing with the technical aspects (read: programming) of it, either. I take it to my drummer's house, plug it into the effects return on his stack, and am tickled to death with how it sounds. All in all, I've never been so satisfied with a piece of gear.
Why the hell am I sitting here considering selling it and going back to a stack of pedals?
Wake up to yourself man! Haha, exactly, why the hell are you even thinking about it, if you are happy with it!?! They are great peices of equipment! And don't tell me you are thinking about buying a new collection of stomp boxes individually......$$$.....

Speaker Cable
What do you run from your line out plug on your head to the amp cabinet itself? Is it an ordinary instrument cable or do you need a dedicated chord for this duty? Just curious as I don't have a seperate amp and cabinet yet and may need this info one day...
You have to use speaker wire to connect the main out of the amp to a speaker cabnet. Using an instrument cable can damage your head.
The line out is different than the main out and usually requires an instrument (sheilded) cable of some sort.

Not-so-cheap axe with a floating trem
I've decided against getting a really cheap axe, and I'm looking for something along the lines of the ESP Ltd MH-400... from : localhost/played that in the shop and I absolutely love it - theres just something about the feel of ESP's that I really like.
I'm not about to rush into it though, so could you list a few axes that are around the same price?
Thanks.

Feels great to find my tone!!
Although I am just 16 (and I have been playing guitar daily for 5 years), it seems like I have come to a spot gear-wise where I am very comfortable (I have never been so comfortable with my playing either, I feel like I am learning and getting better rapidly). Even though I know I am young and will collect more and more stuff (guitars, effects, amps) over the years, it is nice to know that I really like my sound and truly think it is professional-level sounding. I also like knowing that even when ears change and I sell or buy stuff and my sound continues to evolve, I will always have the basis of a great sounding rig with me...Here's my rig:
2004 American Stratocaster (Maple/Maple neck, Chubtone 1963 neck amp; middle pickups, Little 59 bridge, Wilkinson tremolo) -gt;
Boss TU-2 Tuner Pedal -gt;
Analogman Comprossor -gt;

MIM Fender body question
On a 2000 MIM strat, did they use different woods or just one type of wood on average? What is the type of wood they used?
Thank you again.
I think alder.

Tried a Vox 10 Pathfinder...and loved it.
I know I'm being a little redundant on this but this amp blew me away.
It had great sound and responded well to distortion and a series of guitars,settings and pick-ups.
The overdrive channel was like hearing a wet fart through cheesecloth but a TS10 fixed that.
I know a lot of people think the 10 is crap,but I liked it.I've already PM'd John and he can spice it up for me,(very cool).
I'm just getting out of some serious financial doo-doo right now,so I can't buy it out right away,but I'm going to be putting a deposit on it at the end of the week.

check it out

if i am not mistaken, esp is planning to launch a new series of duncan guitars soon albeit with a different headstock. at the moment, a new bass is out. apparently, fender issued a cease and desist order to stop esp from building fender replica with the duncan name.
That looks really nice!
