I'm currently building another Flying-V which will be for Blues and Slide playing.

Probably a set of Voodoo '60s which I have (or similar) but with a mini-humbucker in the middle and a PRS rotary switch.

I don't mind trying out a few minis but I'd like to setup a good order to start.

I already have a vintage '69 Gibson deluxe mini so ....

How about a:

SM3 (neck) ..? ...to bassy for the middle or is the neck version more balanced? Also, any disadvantages of --Humbucker/Mini/Humbucker-- setup before I chop up a pickguard?

I use 2 SM-1's in my 67' Melodymaker. Sounds great for slide. I never
tried the SM-2 or 3.

I think I just narrowed down my choices big time by saying that.
Can Antiquity IIs come with 4 wires? ... probably not.

I still haven't got the final word fro Tom TV Jones but it looks like a Magna'Tron might be the one coming in.
