I'm really hoping I installed it wrong. This is what I did: I toook the old pick up out, which had 1 black and 1 white wire. Then I threw in the SD lil 59, and soldered the white and black of the 4 wires, right where the old ones went and then wired the Green and Red ones to ground. Is this right? Also wired the random metal wire to ground.
Couldn't find any schematics for a HSH Ibanez, so F it. I put it in and it works but the sound is so weak it's sad. I don't even think it sounds better than the original single coil I had in there. Any suggestions on what I did wrong?
Poor soldering? Wrong wiring? Someone please respond.

Just wired up 2 humbuckers, master vol amp; master tone and 3 way switch. When i turn down the tone there's no change until the pot is almost fully down.Pots are 500k and the cap is 47.Any one help.
These kinds of problems can be tricky. The first thing I'd check is, make sure you have a .047uf cap, and not .47uf. (Or worse yet, .47mf.)
or 4.7 F

As I understand it, all you need is a preamp, poweramp and a cabinet (and a guitar, of course).
However, I don't understand how they all work together, nor what is compatible with what. How do power ratings work? What is the advantage of getting rack gear?
Basically, I'm a complete newbie in this... explain it all to me please!!!!

Hi guys,
It's been a while, but I have created a new piece of music.
See: from : localhost/time I used all my new toys: a Crybaby wah, a Alesis SR 16 drumcomputer and my new POD 2.0.
With this equipment, inspiration wasn't realy a problem (haha).

I already know the neck model and want to everything about the bridge model . Is it like a weaker Screaming Demon ?
thanks
AWESOME!!!!! It's my favorite. For what it's worth, I use them in Les Pauls.

I seem to remember someone recommending it for Oasis-type rocky sound in the bridge of my Epi dot. I'm gonna change the pup in a couple of months, and it's down to the '59 or the JB (nickel covered, both of them). Is there a difference in gain between the two? I sure ain't looking to put an invador in my lovely semi...
The JB is quite a bit stronger than the 59B but it doesn't sound like an Invader or anything like that! Robben Ford used one for a long time and made many of his most popular recording with the JB. Robben gets a a fairly smooth and overdriven tone for his solos but he's primarily a jazz and blues player so you know the JB is not a metal pickup...though it could certainly be used for metal if you chose to.
The JB, paired with a Jazz neck, is also Seymour's favorite humbucker combination...he's not a metal player either.

We all know that Jolly is one of the great personalities on this forum, and a lot of joking is done about his 'life is a party' attitude and everything, but there's a few things I gotta say about my friend, Jolly. First of all, the guy is a real deal meat and potatoes guitar player who knows what the hell he's talkin about.
Second, behind all the hardcore George Dikkel drinkin, cussin, southern drawl is a real southern gentleman to the core.
When we met at UGD, he told me he had a present for me, and after a few whiskeys on ice, presented me with a Jazz Model Bridge as a gift. Let me remind you that he's the biggest proponent of the Jazz model on this forum, and uses it to record some of the heaviest hard rock clips people have heard......which is quite frankly what the Jazz Model was NOT intended for.
His answer is that it's the cleanest and tightest humbucker under gain.
