Hi, i've never gotten a clear answer on this question. I have a fender standard telecaster and was thinking of throwing a STHR-1 hot rail into the bridge. when looking at pictures of the hot rail is looks kinda big, but supposedly it is a replacement for the tele. What i'm wondering is if i need to do anything to my guitar to make it fit, such as carve something out or change the pickguard?
No you don't have to carve something or replace the pickguard. Doesn't your current pickup mount in the bridge unit?
welcome to the forum!!

Does anyone have any exprrience with those analog delays from Maxon. I've never tried one before. In fact, I've never tried analog delay. I read HC reviews and it seems that AD 900 is better than AD 999 but I couldn't find any dealer that sells AD 900. If you have played one, how did you like it?
I have an AD-900 and love it, it's the best analog delay I've ever heard. They are a bit pricey, but all analog delay pedals are expensive due to the shortage of BBD chips. The AD-900 is no longer being made, which is why you can't find it. It's been replaced with the AD-999. If you don't need 600 ms of delay time, you can get the 300 ms model that Maxon makes for about half the price.

So i'm new to the tube amp world, I just got my Peavey JSX a week ago. It has EL34 power amp tubes, but it can be easily switched to 6L6's. My question is, what effect toneally will this have if I switch to 6L6's? (will I have more saturation, noise, mids, lows, highs, etc.)
Thanx dudes!
a bit more headroom before it starts to break up (most apparent clean at high volumes), a minimally quot;clearer quot;tone with accentuated bass and highs compared to what you have now....noise should be the same.

Yes, I saw someone had a 60 watt quot;ace tonequot; combo for sale, but I've never heard about the brand before..is it worth anything?
All I know about Acetone amps is my bass player used one. It was made in Japan, And a knockoff of a GK400. Can't say it sounded bad, But I can't say it sounded great. I have no idea what their guitar amps are like? But i bet it's a knockoff of something?

I'm really digging this pickup, and the neck is very, very good as well. Here are two clips from the bridge pup. For my next guitar, I'm getting a Duncan Distortion in the bridge, will I like it based on the gainy clip? Is it similar sounding?
Gainy:

Well, I finally got around to swapping an 85 into the bridge of my LP.
First impressions were some dissapointment. I rather like the tone of the 81 that was in there before and I missed the aggressive attack of that pickup. The 85 is much more mellow sounding. It lacks the punch and upper mids of the 81. It has much more bass and a more even tone, but it has much less output. It sounds somewhat scooped to me, though that could be a misconception because I'm used to the strong midrange of the 81.
On the positive side it's an almost perfect match in terms of tone and output to the 60 I have in the neck. If you like switching between the two pickups alot this would be a good option for you.

Hey guys.
After all the problems I've had as regards fitting the Bareknuckle Pickups to my Gordon Smith (Routing issues, issues as regards long leg/short leg baseplate etc) I finally have the Black Dog (bridge) and Riff Raff (neck) fitted to my Gordon Smith Graduate 60 (Handmade Les Paul clone).
Boy do they kick the a$$ of other pickups I've tried in this guitar

Hey guys,
I'm putting up for sale my Fender American Strat. It's in excellent condition, just some very small scratches here and there, mostly on the back. It's black in color and has a maple fretboard. It comes with the original hardshell case, a Fender strap, tremolo bar and owner's manual. It's from the 50th anniversary year, so it has the 50th anniversary chrome neckplate. I like this guitar a lot, but I'm getting a new guitar soon, and this one has to go.
Price: $700 UPS ground shipping. It's only 7 months old, so it's very close to a brand new American strat.
