Is there a way to clear all inputs to an existing workbook - everything but
the formulas?

sdmccabe, one way, ctrl a to select all cells, then edit, goto, special,
check constants, OK, delete

Select the range you want to clean up--include as many formula cells as you
want.

Then edit|goto|special
check Constants
click ok

hit the delete key on the keyboard.

(You may have constants that you want to
keep--headers/descriptions/instructions.)

CTRL a(twice in Ver. 2003) to select all cells.

F5gt;Specialgt;Constants. De-select the type you want to keep, like Text for
titles and OK your way out.

Constants will be selected.

Editgt;Clear Contents will keep formulas.Gord Dibben Excel MVP
