I need to show the day and the date in the same cell

can anyone help please
Assuming your ariginal date is in cell A1, paste this in cell A3 and
copy down as far as needed.

=TEXT($A$1 ROW()-2,quot;ddd, m/d/yyyyquot;)

assuming you have dates in the cells just use

Cell gt;Format gt;Number gt; custom and type this in the box
