In Excel 2003 if I turn on auto-filter the status bar remains blank...it does
not say filter mode. If I run a filter no count is displayed. Is there a
setting not turned on?
I'm having the same issue as well. My status bar at the bottom has been
completely removed, so when I filter out records, I can't see the display of
what the count is. Same thing happens with pivot tables - I can't see how
many records are processing in the bottom left corner liked I used to be able
to.
What settings do I need to put back to show these counts?
Please help. Thanks.

Still waiting for a response. Can anyone help?
How can I bring back the display at the bottom of the page to indicate how
many records were selected in a certain filter?
Do you know of any other trouble shooting site I can contact?
