is this a fake.
scroll down and look for yourself
What gave it away? The fact that is says quot;Replicaquot; in the title of the auction? Well, gee...
why does the switch always look so wonky on epiphones?
actually everything on that guitar looks wonky

Perhaps you have heightened perceptive abilities... or
'cause they are.

What's wrong with the switch? What makes it wonky? Enlighten me, please.
it looks like it's about 50% too close to the neck pickup.
Epis have always looked awful to me for that reason, and I don't know why no one else notices.
I've never actually measured though.
Good thing every Epi Paul I've ever played has sounded AWFUL. (I'm not saying they aren't out there though...)

Here's mine. It's looks about right. It sounds great too.
Epi LP Standard Plus

Epi LP Standard Plus
it does that
Never played an Lp plus though. But every set neck Epi Paul I've played has been absolutely apalling, especially considering they still cost $500 . That's where real Gibsons should be but... we've discussed this before.
Plus most of em have the wonky switches. looks right on yours though

It's one of the Made in China models. They are so much better than the Korean models. It appears that the Customs are still MIK and the Standards and Standard Plus models are MIC. Try a few MIC models for kicks. I was very surprised with the tone. And the resonance is amazing. Acoustically it rings out really loud.

i don't think its even an epiphone. never seen an epi with that switch position(most are closer to the edge) and checkout the knob positions!! Its a replica, thats why.
I've never noticed a problem with any epi paul, once you switch the pickups they aren't bad value at all. Theres better value les paul copies though. As for that replica... looks crap compared to the real thing.
It says quot;replicaquot; from the word go, meaning it´s a fake, meaning it´s nowhere near as valuable as the original (except in a very few cases).....Where´s the issue /question??
