What was going to be a very happy night has ended in tragedy!
A American Deluxe Designer 50th anniversary Floyd rose Fat strat in sunburst like the one Adrian uses from Iron Maiden was going to be mine... and then... it happend. 10 seconds before the auction ended, i was outbid.

Not funny at the time. Although i can see it is now. So the word to some up my night is quot;CRAP!quot;

Bloody snipers. At least i may the dude pay a seriously larger amount of cash more than it was going to be thanks to a pretty big bid on the item

Thought, it's not a 50th Anniversary, so it may not have the same sentimental value. But remember, don't forget your other options.

Yeh, well done for pointing that one out Its not ACTUALLY a 50th anniversary, but has the 50th anniversary backplate some did last year. Very rare though, as there were hardly any Fender Floyd rose guitars last year, so this is a real sod to miss.

HH, Floyd Rose.. I think she'd be a winner alright! It's got an early 80's Dave Murray vibe to it, like that DiMarzio-loaded black Strat he used way back when.

I was sniped on a really nice looking white/maple strat the other day. Oh well, there are other guitars right?

This reminds me of last night when i was sitting at my computer, checking out things on Ebay, and whoamp! There it was, my perfect fat-strat, with F-rose in maple! Yippee Ja! Some guy was trying to outbid me! But i showed him the power of my Bavarian Bravery! Snagged it out from under his nose in the last dying seconds! Achtung Baby! Bet he had a crap night...

Just kidding dude... i know how you feel. I reserved an axe once at a store, and came in next day to pick it up and some tool had seen it and offered a smidge more. Lost out. Hope you find another axe just like that one...

that was a fender strat american special floyd rose......i've got one like that in candy apple red with maple fingerboard......they are quite rare to find in european ebay sites but they keep coming up in the US ebay...

hahhaa, im kinda getting the feeling. Ive gone out and got completly pissed tonite, so that took my mind of all this

not alone there ... the MESA DC-10 over ebay was shot by someone else at the 11th hour.
