My buddy has a '73 marshall Super Lead 100w head he is trying to find the value of, any ideas what it might be. I am not real up on Marshall prices.

73 was the transitional year between Point to Point and the first 'simple tracer' circuit boards. 73 is the year that could be either of the two. If it's a point to point, it's worth between $1100 and $2000, depending on if the there's NO holes, mods, or chewed up tolex, or oxidized chassis and handle ends. If it's a circuit board 73, it's worth between $800 and $1300.

wow marshall went to pcb pretty early. when did fender go pcb?

i'm presuming that amp would do some awesome ac/dc type cranked marshall tones. Dont they use a mid 70's marshall super lead?
