The Burny line was manufactured in the Fuji Gen Gakki factory, the same one that made the Ibanez models that are famously called quot;lawsuitquot;.

Gibson didn't get in on the Japanese market directly until the mid-to-late nineties I believe with the quot;Orvillequot; line.

I've been calling the Burny and Grecos quot;clonesquot;; it's the best way to really describe them.
