Great unit, from what I've heard. Not cheap, but rackmount and OK. Can I get your input as to what you think of that as main amp?

Berslaw Gers and Duke of Metal both use it, that I know of.

The JMP1 is a really cool preamp but IMO it can be a bit fussy without the right poweramp. I really want to pick up another one pretty soon One of my favorite heavy tones is from Mellon Collie amp; the Infinite Sadness and the basic setup was a JMP1 into a Strategy 500.

I use one with the older marshall 9000 series EL34 power amp. Nice unit, and can be found for decent prices. Maybe around $300-$400

I had one years back. Never liked it much. A friend of mine had an ADA MP-1 and we switched. I just liked the tone in the ADA better.
