Curious, due to the fact that the A4, I've heard, has more mids than an A5. What do you think it would sound like.

I think it would have a little softer high end?
i know LINDY prefers these over 5's
I am using an a4 antiquity bridge in one of my LPs. The magnet-pickup-wood match is great!

I've got an A4 Custom....C-4....you gotta love that name!
It's a bit of a cross between a C-5 and PG, although it's a bit harder feeling under the fingers. It's a very articulate pickup.
In a 59, I imagine that it would soften the highs, but also has a possibility of sounding thinner on the bottom.

C4, that's funny. I exploded with laughter when I read that.
Ok I did it. The 59-A4 sounds more balanced and has more clarity. I don't have a Seth, but I think it may be close. Or it may sound as if the AP2Pro had an A5 in it (not sure though since I haven't tried that .... yet)
