ok ima keep it simple i have a Fender Telecaster and i want to change the pickup(s) so i get a really heavy metal sound but i have no clue wut pickups i should b looking at! if any1 can guide me in the right direction id really like that...thnx!Mr. Ocean

With a regular routed tele you have 3 choices.
Hotrails---hottest tele sized bucker, very fat full bucker sound
Lil 59-----scaled back with adjustable polpieces, very gutsy with a bit of twang if you want it
Quarter Pound-The heaviest tele single coil. Very Beefy almost like a P90, this pup loves gain.

theres also the hot lead stack, but i would go with those 3 luke duke posted. out of those 3, hot rails is the best for heavy metal, imo, but it might be too hot to get a good clean tone for softer stuff, and the lil 59 should clean up better.
