Within the past months or so, I've been hellbent on making my RR3 perfect with new pickups. But it seems my mood has changed, and now its my Stratocaster resting against my amp. I can't put her down, shes playing very beautifully.

My Strat was the 1st guitar I ever bought, and god do I love her, but yet sometimes I get sick of it, frustrated sometimes, and want to sling it up on the hillside (I never do). So I go on and buy other guitars, they tickle my fancy for a while. But then its always back to the Strat, and now the same thing has happened with this RR3.

Not to say that I don't enjoy my RR3, but man it dosen't have anything on my Strat, nothing does in my opinion.

Anybody else got a single instrument, that just can't be replaced?

No, but only because I own only 1 electric.

yeah, my strat, haha.

yep... my strat too...

Not one, more like 4 or 5.... Phoenix, My Model 6 and My CS Dinky are all essentially irreplacable...and there are others that get me every so often as well...

haha wow that was like 3 strats in a row.

I love me some stratocaster.

I wish I had a Strat I felt that way about. I'm still on the fence about it.

My Epi Les Paul used to be that way, but it's starting to get a little worn, you know? Some good (the character nicks) some not so good (fret wear, loose tuner) But I think I'm going to freshen it up becuase fundementally it's a good guitar. 8 years of playing almost everyday will do that. Good unplugged tone with sustain, nice neck/fingerboard.

I don't really get attached to guitars, but I'm really attached to my amp.

Sounds like my Strat. She's my number one and she knows it. Yet sometimes we have our little tiffs and agree to spend some time apart.

But sometimes she just doesn't put out with that raw, raunchy, bad-girl attitude like her fat-assed sister the V does. So when I feel like it's party-time I'll take out the V.

And other times her skinny sister with the flat neck, the Aria, will tickle my fancy. She was actually my first and every now and then I like to reminisce with her.

But when all is said and done I always come home to the Strat. Flings come and go, but the Strat is here to stay. And she's a damn good cook too.

My Number One Strat is so named for that very reason. Maybe it's because I keep upgrading it as my tastes change, or maybe it's because of all I've been through with that guitar. I am so accustomed to it that other guitars just seem quot;not quite rightquot; somehow.

I would like to replace the body with a one-piece hardtail, but other than that it's perfect.

My Dean Hardtail USA most likely will never be sold. I'm itching for a McCarty to add to the line up, but the Dean is just so darn playable and has great tone.

All my guitars are irreplacible.

Well I mean I love all of my babies (see sig).

But I mean my strat (caroline is her name) is just such a beautiful guitar, that none other can really top her in my book. But I mean my Gibson is irreplaceable considering it was once my dads, and the ovation as well. But that Fender is my #1, that schecter, well it can burn for all i care sad to say.

And my RR is for impailing victims to crazy guitar solos, but the Fender soothes the soul, but yet still impales my victims.

My modified to hell strat is just like that, it has a scappolled fretboard and a jb and 59. sometimes i love playing it but if it doesnt have a perfect setup its just unplayable and its a pain in the ass takin care of it.
