Hey,

Does anyone know why my wah pedal is crackling? and why it fades away sometimes?

Are you sure it's the pedal and not your cables? If so, then the pot is probably going out on the wah. You need to replace it, which is easy to do.
Dunlop and Fulltone both make replacement pots for wah pedals.

I have the same trouble when I use my pedal jumper cord with my EQ... probably the cable.

It cant be my cables because I just bought new ones....Planet Waves and livewire

Bad switch or a bad pot...The switch problem is the most common..

Seconding the pot or switch. Switch to a Morley.

.

What are you talking about? Morley has made some of the best wah pedals around. Granted, they're not a Crybaby, but Steve Vai uses them. I think the photocell is probably a bit more reliable than a potentiometer.
