so... hwo do i start? i have a rhoads style ax and i wanna deck it out.... great guitar
pickups?
Which RR guitar do you have? What style of music do you play? What about the guitar do you wont to change?
U'll need some blingin' rims.
^In a manner of speaking, yes. Chrome pickup rings!
yea the rings r an easy fix i was lookin into... black and more chrome... yup, very nice, o and its a JS30RR, yea not that graet but its my fav guitar, plays really really well for me... so i wanna treat it well lol
metal and rock, id just like ideas right now, nothing tooo dramatic tho... i dont wanna mess anything up
If you can't find anything to change by playing it, dont change anything.
Get shaller straplocks. I suppose u could get a mirror pickguard, if your guitar has a pickguard of course...
Get some guitar polish.
Get some lemon oil for the neck
JS30's don't have pickguards...
and they're fixed bridges, if the bridge gives you trouble kill it (and get a better one). Umm, when I tried them those pickups were very bass-light, kind of like anemic EMG-HZs, so I'd suggest replacing those as soon as possible. Also, while my old jackson had decent electronics (volume, switch, tone) I suggest you get new ones. The JS30 series plays nicely but the equipment sucks.
1. Pickups
2. Electronics
3. Straplocks
really optional:
4. Bridge (only if you don't like it, I haven't seen one in a while so I don't know how good or bad it is)
5. Nut
6. Tuners
What I think that you should take care of is straplocks. Pots and switches aren't usually of the best quality with import Jacksons, so change them (but only if) they make noise or bother you otherwise.
If it stays in tune, no need to change tuners or nut. If it doesn't, either one or both could be the fault.
If you don't like its sound 100%, try changing the pickups. Check out SD and DMZ first and ask more specific questions in the pickup lounge.

New pickups are pretty easy to install and will probably make the most effect on your tone.
A professional set will make it play alot better, just make shure you take it to a tech with a good reputation.
ok thanks... chrome rings, maybe lockin tuners? maybe new knobs, pickups... ok taht helps
You still haven't really told us what about the guitar you wish were different. If you're just looking to change it just for the sake of having a quot;customizedquot; guitar, save your money.
Although Tha Foamizzle's comment about blingin' rims is worth looking into :afro:
lol yea, i just wanna do some easy mods to make it look kooler, cuz it doesnt look to flashy lol
