if anyone is interested in purchasing one of these guitars let me know(all models available) i have a wholesale contract with saga music and i am about to start selling a few over the internet. think i may end up opening another music store this fall. if there is any model you are interested in just let me know and i will send you specs and probablly the cheapest price you can find on one since i don't have any overhead currently.(just opperating out of the house). i can also get kentucky mandolins and regal resonator guitars.
What's a ballpark price for a BR-160?
list is $795.00 i can do one for around $460.00 to $470 brand new with all the factory warrantee's. provided they haven't raised shipping too much. and if they have it will only be a couple dollars difference. i also sell cases at cost when someone buys a new guitar.
golden gate premier are 39.95
hmm... what do they sound/play like?
I've been looking for a higher quality acoustic...

heres the spec's on the quot;historicquot; series
all historic series:
*all hand-made solid wood construction
*hand carved parabolic top braces in authentic pre-war forward quot;Xquot; position
*rosewood bridge
*bone nut and saddle
*high gloss finish with aging toner for vintage look
*rosewood peghead overlay with M.O.P amp; abalone inlays
*carved solid mahoganey, low profile neck with adjustable truss rod
*dovetail neck joint
*saga's exclusive dalmation tortoise pickgaurd
*kluson vintage style tuners with butterbean knobs
br-140 model is the copy of a pre war martin D-18 with mahoganey back and sides
br-160 is the copy of a pre-war martin herringbone D-28 with east indian rosewood back and sides
br-180 is the copy of a pre war martin D-45 with east indian rosewood back and sides
these are dreadnaught size, can also get quot;000quot; size. in my honest opinion, these guitars are among the best instruments on the market right now. in fack i have yet to see a new standard model martin that will even come close to the same sound quality. in order to get the same quality from martin you would have to buy one of the vintage series, which are around $2,500 and up.
heres some prices for those interested
br-140 list $650 my price $375
br-160 list $795 my price $470
br-180 list $1,295 my price $750
these quotes are just ballpark figures but will vary no more than by a few dollars.

yes i can get pedals, and yea i would ship to germany, but the shipping and duties would probably cost more than the pedal.

no brother. fretfire checked for me before. it cost abt 15 USD to ship here. customs is abt 16 % here. its still ok for some pedals.
yeah just let me know what you want, if i can get it i'll let ya know the price. i havn't shiped to germany, but i did ship a 150 dollar mandolin to ireland a few years ago and the shipping and duties were close to a hundred, so thats what i was goin by, sounds like yall don't have it quite as bad.
i'm interested in boss distortion and OD pedals , DS-1 amongst others.
and the Ibanez TS-9.
Hellrider, I may be interested in the future. They look like sweet acoustics!!!

That is a good price. I will keep you in mind when I'm ready to buy another accoustic.
Do you drop ship the guitars directly from the factory to the buyer, or you you receive them first?
If you receive them, do you do any setup work before you ship?
Thanks
i recieve em first, so i can inspect em for flaws and what not. i do set up work but i have yet to recieve a blueridge that needed anything, on my cheaper stuff like spencers i end up having to set them up most of the time. just let me know when your interested. i'm hopin to get my music store opened up by this fall. i will be carrying a few more name brands too. just keep a check on me, i'll let ya know what i'm gettin.
dude, if you got the BOSS deal, that'd be killer hehe

Cool
I have a BR-160. Tottally awesome sound and feel. I played it next to my bosses Martin D-28 which was very old and in perfect shape. The sound was extremely similar and I only paid $500 vs his 2K
I just did some gear sleazing this morning and I can say that they a killer acoustics!!! They sound and play like butter!!!! Its a matter of time, I will have one. Great bang for the buck!!! Workmanship on them is top notch kind of stuff. They feel great and sound just as good.
