I was wondering if anyone has seen any new Singlecuts out yet. My local PRS dealer said they wouldn't get any until at leasst February. I was wondering if any bigger shops have got them yet.

I haven't seen'em yet, but I have this feeling it's gonna be raining Singlecuts in the Spring! I'll bet they're cranking them out in the US and Korea by the truckload, just to stick it to Gibson next year.

I was told about 3-4 months ago that they were about 8-9 months out (haha, that narrows it down a bit, doesn't it?). I agree with Gearjoneser... expect to be bombarded with PRS singlecuts in the spring.

I'm starting to wonder if I should start setting money aside...

That would be an unwise business decision.

PRS would do well to come out with a limited edition with the price jacked up and then slowly increase production.

PRS knows they have a limited amount of time before inevitably either Gibson will want to settle or license or they'll end up back in court again.

This is all about marketing...those Singlecuts hitting the stores were made during the era when they were told to cease production JUST for this express purpose.

Hmm i see me GASing bad if theyre good looking (note to self: I really shouldnt, the Dean is amazing, the Dean is amazing, the Dean is amazing, do not need singlecut repeat do not need singlecut, is just another guitar...)

No singlecuts but I did see a stunning faded denim blue Eagle that knocked my sox off, I don't care for PRS really but this was a stunner.

ehhh...meh...prs should stick with double cuts only..for some reason in my opinion prs's just look wrong with single cuts

the only wrong looking PRSi i have ever seen are Danny SPitz of Anthrax. The 6-inline tuners on the PRS headstock just looks weird

danny spitz is just wrong looking in general

I'd be savin for one...cept I've got far too many HH guitars . Promised myself that the next axe I get'll be a superstrat...

I'm guessing the Dan Spitz one it some one off custom jobby? Looked interesting to me, i would go so far as to say i liked it!

Word is they'll be back in stores next April or May.
I'm hoping that they'll offer a rosewood neck option at NAMM. Otherwise, I'll pick up a used one some time next year.

if PRS does pump out the singlecuts by the truckload i hope that quality control can keep up. Because the last thing we want is another company that previously made great guitars falling into that rut that uhhh...ahem...another notable unnamed company fell into.

Omg Funny

Um..no they restarted production after they WON the court battle with Gibson and they were told it was perfectly acceptable and legal for them to make them. They do not have to have any licensing from Gibson since their design is their own and they did stop making them during the court injunction against them. But now that it's been lifted for several months, they've had time to step production back up (since they restarted production the day after the court battle was over)

Who has a pic of the Danny Spitz PRS? I don't know anything about it, but rumor is it's supposed to be lighter due to his sever back problems
