WOW! it arrived yesterday and i'm still in awe. this thing sounds totally amazing. i tried it out using both the les paul and the p-90 equipped sg. both just ripped. the sound clips they have on their site on very accurate. i just couldn't put the thing down. the controls are so responsive. the tones are so creamy. or so crunchy, depending. it's real responsive to it's own controls but to the guitars tone/volume knobs as well. just like a real amp. i don't know how they did it but they really scored with this product. i think i may have found my tone. it's a very quiet unit too. which is not something i'm used to owning a pod. speaking of the pod, looks like i may be retiring the pod from guitar duties......

Yup, they're killer pedals, especially through a tube amp. I have a BHM but I need to get a Classic, too...

i'm just using the direct method and it still sounds amazing! it is indeed a self contained marshall shrunk down to pedal size.

Indeed. I have the Classic and the Tweedy pedals and I use them direct recording only. Tried them thru an amp but I personally did'nt came for them like that. It took a bit of tweaking on my part but I'm starting to get some decent sounds out of them. You just have to be careful with the Drive and Bass levels. I don't know if they are the absolute best things out there but I think they do a pretty good job. The built in speaker emulator ( I think that's the word for it) definatley helps.

last nite i also found out it gives a lemmy-like distorted sound when you run a p-bass thru it. man i'm loving this thing! it's a new pedal for my bass too!

pretty impressive for direct recording (based on the clips on the site)...kinda like a SansAmp with a bit less compression. I didn't think the quot;through the ampquot; tones were so hot...again based on the clips...

Also very impressive was the tone of that SG w/ the Timbuckers or whatever...that thing came damn close to sounding like a Paula! wonderful tone.
