That white/white/maple Strat is beautiful. Unlike bursts, a classic look that I never get tired of. Is that a JV?

Gamera..... No actually its a new Hwy. 1 USA Strat that i just picked up last friday. I put on the aged pickup covers and knobs myself to match the honey blonde transparent finish that it has.....

Brow, these new Hwy 1 US Strats go new for around $629-$649, very nice for the price! FenderBender

I've just had a quick search on the net for any of these guitars that are in UK based shops, and the cheapest I've seen 1 for was £440. Which is an ok price.

I may keep my open on the 2nd hand front and also look into the Gordon Smith Strats as another alternative

I already have a scratchplate and pickups I want to put in the guitar, so all I need is basically the neck and body

I love the Highway 1 Strat. I have such a soft-spot for off-white Strats at the moment. Someone else has posted pics of a Highway 1 Strat recently, and I am gassing over one really badly.

Got a chance to play it through my Blues Jr. and really liked the tone and vibe this thing has.... think i'll be quite happy with it!!

Wow man, what a bute!! Could you get pictures where yo ucan see the grain slightly showing through? (if that's possible with the camera) and how is the grain showing through? Is it good? Alot?

Kamanda.... i'll get a few more pics posted soon. Theres not a great deal of grain showing through on it, but what it does have is quite visible. Hope i can get it to show up on my camera. I'll definately try!FenderBender

Really nice stuff. I have the same strat, but with a trem instead of a hardtail. These are one of the best deals going in a USA strat. The only thing that is not USA is the electronics, and what's in it are really not that bad.

The finish is not as fragile as people say, as long as you exercise even a moderate amount of respect for the finish.

Uhhh.... Fender doesn't make a hardtail Hwy. 1 Strat... I just had the brigde lower to be flush with the body thats all!!
